Big surprise, we know, but Evan Hecox has a new outrageously good book out now called Urban Abstract that can be purchased at Art Prostitute's store (although it doesn't seem to be up online quite yet).
Hecox has fostered a massive following through his street art, skateboarding, and gallery art alike. His clean and crisp illustration style is equal parts draftsman artwork, comic work, California pop art, and, of course, Hecox's own unique, unplaceably alluring and intriguing vibe. There's a simple, refined beauty to all his work, and Urban Abstract is just the newest testament to that fact.
Evan will also be doing a show of some sort at BLK/MRKT Gallery in Los Angeles in 2008, so keep an eye out for more details as they come.
