WMC On the Loose

Ahhh, welcome to the land of big, buff oily dudes and oversized platform shoes. We’re in Miami, bitch! WMC kicked off earlier this week and Anthem is doing its best to absorb it all, which is no small feat.

The action of course is nonstop, from the midday poolside jammy jams to the clubs at night, to the early morning after hours for the chemically enhanced soldiers of electronic music. Too many things to highlight. Should we mention the Ovum vs. Pokerflat party at Vagabond with our good friends from Etnies where Josh Wink and Steve Bug kept it spicy? Or perhaps poolside at the Raleigh for the Scion party Day 1 where Erol Alkan dropped by as a special guest only to be followed by a Berlin combo of Boys Noize and Digitalism who performed live? My favorite highlight so far was catching Jesse Rose at Studio A, who killed the crowd and a bottle of vodka at the same time.

Where the week will take us we shall see. Perhaps the Diddy party with Claude VonStroke tonight??!!
