It's not much fun, tacking a stamp with a Purple Heart or waving American flag on an envelope addressed to your love interest or best friend or even your grandmother! Tying yourself to such bland artwork and symbols of U.S. superiority is slightly embarrassing.

The USPS's commemorative stamps haven't been much of an upgrade, either (Frank Sinatra and the Marvel superheroes being the dorkiest), so its with a sigh of relief that we finally get a collection worth buying and sticking on an envelope: the Charles & Ray Eames set. The sixteen-piece collection features all the couple's landmark works (La Chaise, Case Study #8, the LCW), and, of course, a cute profile shot of the Eames' themselves. Order yourself some or proudly march into a post office and pick them up in person!
