New York City's the Virgins were featured as one of our bands to watch last year, and look how far the quartet's come in such a short span of time!

The group was signed to Atlantic Records before even recording one song in a studio, has already been featured on several television shows including Gossip Girl, and just just finished up the massive Nylon Tour through the U.S., opening for She Wants Revenge and Be Your Own Pet. The indie circuit doesn't get much bigger than that... !

We chatted with most of the band in a stinky alleyway behind the Wiltern while they were in L.A., and this is the film we've got to show for our efforts! The Virgins is truly a spectacular band that'll only go onward and upward. Who can resist a good pop hook, a funky R&B bass line, a dancey drum fill, and a sexy tenor singing voice, anyway?
