PES Films' "Western Spaghetti"

We normally don't post YouTube viral videos, but it's after hours at the office, and once you watch this short stop-motion animation, you'll realize why we decided it must be written about.

PES Films is a "twisted" production company that makes quirky animations which reappropriate all sorts of unusual mechanisms, devices, and tools for fun, vibrant shorts. This one uses aluminum foil to mimic cooking oil, candy corns to give the effect of a gas stove's flame, white yarn for Parmesan cheese, and plenty of other everyday items in lieu of the real objects they represent.

"Western Spaghetti" is PES's greatest achievement in this publication's humble opinion, but you certainly ought to check out the rest of their creations.
