This might be a little too niche for some of you Anthem Online readers, but the subject is very near and dear to me ...
For those of you into Japanese politics, economics, pop culture, and all that jazz, you really should know about David Marxy, his Neomarxisme blog, and his most recent online creation, Neojaponisme. He is a very, very smart man with quite the array of interests and an uncanny ability to speak intelligibly on them all. I'm hook -- this is not a plug.
Anyway, Marxy just translated and published Rolling Stone Japan's "100 Greatest Japanese Rock Albums" list online and it is quite an amazing list. Even for those of you not all that enamored with the Japanese music scene, there're bound to be a few bands that you'd recognize. Check out the post here. Fantastic.
Fingers crossed, Marxy will grace the electronic pages of Anthem Online again in some way, shape, or form.
