Brett Westfall―Comme des Garçons designer, Unholy Matrimony founder, talented artist, and much more―announced a while back that the L.A. Comme des Garçons guerrilla shop would be closing (which, obviously, really bummed us out). Then, much to our happy surprise, he shot out another missive telling us that a new boutique, M'ouments, would be taking up residency in the spot, and that it would feature pretty much everything the CDG joint had―and much more!
The interior has been changed quite a bit (there's now a Play section and a small gallery that currently features work by three Japanese artists), but the whiff of CDG is still omnipresent. Regardless, it's worth checking out. Flick through the photos in the media player and, if you're in L.A. or passing through sometime soon, be sure to stop by, say hi to Brett if he's in, and grab a few goodies for yourself!
