One of our favorite brands, Woolrich Woolen Mills, just dropped us a line about their Spring/Summer 2009 collection, and while we won't find any of it in stores for a while, we're already prepared to buy every piece!
The line is "inspired by traditional men's outdoor wear with classic details such as ties and bow-ties." The lightweight garments aren't as Kennedy-esque as one would expect, though: every piece is accented with earthy tones, cut in a comfortable yet sophisticated manner, and infused with unique colors, patterns, and details, making them all the more special. They scream "add me to your Spring/Summer shopping list" like nothing else!
The Glen Plaid of the Upland Jacket (1) is irresistible in its traditional British undertones and slim cut. The military suave simplicity of the accompanying Nicker Pant (1) has us hooked, too. The Guide Vest (2) may be inspired by clothing "typical [to] the practical tradition of outdoor sportswear for hunting and fishing," but we can see wearing the five snap-button piece just about anywhere and to any event. But don't let us skew your opinions... check out the rest of the S/S 09 clothes in the media player to the right and keep Woolrich in mind when you're looking for the perfect Spring or Summer jacket, vest, or new pair of shorts!
