One of the pride's of Los Angeles is Arkitip, the envelope-pushing independent magazine publisher, art collective, and gallery space. Arkitip has collaborated with folks outside its immediate circle before (re: Arkitip's Chronicles), but we weren't expecting to get wind of them teaming up with computer case manufacturer, Incase!
But don't say these guys have sold out. Incase may be the laptop protector of choice for suave Mac users, but to Arkitip, it's also a great means to get more awesome art out there! Arkitip will be designing various Incase products to be sold in "top tier" Apple stores and limitedly online. The first project "is a MacBook sleeve [by] artist Craig Costello, a.k.a. KRINK or KR."
Curated by Arkitip launches on July 15 and will feature a video element as well as a display of the product during the opening ceremonies. We're eager to slip our computers into something a little sexier...
