Insound and Jason Munn of The Small Stakes design studio have teamed up for an ambitious and impressive collaboration: the Insound 20. The biggest independent Internet record distro and Munn worked on a collection of silk-screened T-shirts and hoodies, inspired by their twenty favorite bands. Apparently, the thought was worth Insound's while as they simultaneously announced that the Insound 20 will be a recurring annual collection. Here're 2008's artists:

That's a solid lineup! Unfortunately, there're only 1,000 T-shirts and hoodies (and 200 posters of the same designs), so act fast and get your favorite band's stunning swag now! Pre-orders will be taken at present, but products won't be shipped until mid-August. Oh, and there's more! A twenty-first design including the names of all participating bands will eventually be produced as well. 100% of the profits from that tee will go to Dave Eggers/McSweeneys offshoot non-profit, 826 N.Y.C. Maybe we should hold out until our shirts become tax deductible!
