The Olympics ain't the only thing going down on August 8. Osaka's extraterrestrial noise outfit, Boredoms, is coming to L.A. for an 8.08 PM PST concert at the La Brea Tar Pits, 88BoaDrum.
The Nike Sportswear-presented show is going to be a blast. With last year's 77BoaDrum show under the Brooklyn Bridge in N.Y.C., we thought Japan's most prominent experimental rockers had all but forgotten about us. Fortunately, this is no longer the case!
Gang Gang Dance will "conduct" its own eighty-eight-minute 88BoaDrum show in Brooklyn at 8.08 PM EST, too, so if you're on the East Coast, don't get too down!
To make the event even more appealing (like seeing an acid-tripping dread-head bang away for nearly ninety-minutes isn't enough), Nike Sportswear will be giving away free T-shirts at the concert and... the whole thing is free! Get tickets for the La Brea Tar Pits show at Brown Paper Tickets or at Amoeba Records or LACMA in L.A. while supplies last.
