Magazines seem to become more precious as each day passes—and that's not just because more die away or lessen their circulations, either! Indeed, the art of constructing, publishing, and making a magazine—not to mention making it memorable—is becoming more and more appreciated and admired.
Apartmento is a recently-launched English language biannual publication that focuses on interior design. Don't think it's Spain's response to Home Magazine or an extension of Dwell or even, to an extent, Wallpaper*, though; it has a more subdued and delicate quality to it and might appeal more to the Monocle reader (or Anthem reader!) than the GQ regular.
The debut issue features "Ideal Weekend" by Mike Mills (wow!), something on the interior design (?) of Mystery Jets' abodes, and plenty of product examination and showcasing. We can't wait to get our hands on a copy of the elegantly laid-out and smartly organized book. Unfortunately, that may require a trip to Europe to accomplish!
