Blackpool's Little Boots, a.k.a. Victoria Hesketh, may have released only a couple tunes (one with Hot Chip's Joe Goddard on production duties, no less!) and a handful of remixes, but Anthem's obsessed, and we're putting all our chips on her.
A couple weeks back, the up-and-coming, funky pop chanteuse came to L.A. to lay down a few tracks for her forthcoming EP and LP. In addition to recording, she used her nights to DJ several parties and club nights, one of which—at Hollywood's LAX—we attended and filmed. Check out the quick interview clip with snippets of Victoria on the turntables (she's really good!) in the media player to the right.
The digital/vinyl Arecibo EP will be out in November on IAMSOUND Records in N. America.
