Kitsuné Records has a lot going for it. With the Kitsuné Maison compilations representing a snapshot of what's cool at any given time, plenty of rad bands on its roster (Cazals, Digitalism, AutoKratz, Klaxons), and a burgeoning fashion label on top of it all, the French company seems unable to do any wrong. This is, after all, the label founded by Gildas Loaec (Daft Punk's art director) and Masaya Kukori (a Japanese architect), though; would one even expect them to not be cool?
In an attempt to expand and get its music out to all the corners of the world, Kitsuné has paired itself with etcetc, the Aussie label that has released stuff by Annie, PNAU, Mylo, WhoMadeWho, Datarock, and many others in the southern hemisphere. The team-up will only strengthen both Kitsuné and etcetc, and Anthem couldn't be happier (even if we're neither based out of France nor Australia).
