The great Ryan McGinness hasn't graced the pages of L.A.'s most infamous and respected art magazine, Arkitip, since its fifth issue, but the well-established artist is now back again for issue 48!
As usual, Arkitip refuses to be a "normal" publication with its current issue: not only is the book suitcase shaped, but it also comes with a McGinness tome entitled Aesthetic Comfort which is being released "on the occasion of the Aesthetic Comfort exhibitions in the Fall of 2008. This artist's book features details of McGinness' paintings converted to coarse halftones and printed in 4 fluorescent inks: orange, yellow, pink, and green. It will accompany each issue edition, which is packaged in a custom designed box made exclusively for Arkitip by Incase."
